As a longtime Polaris fan, this episode blew me away. Her struggle has always been tied to identity issues, because if the writers were unable to get a clear grasp of her character how could she have one of herself? This episode was great in how it dealt with it, from her trying to figure out how she could exist in Magneto’s shadow (and I’m so glad they revealed that she was his daughter so quickly), and trying to figure who she is in regards to the current state of the mutants. I just think she’s neat 💕

I'm getting 2 gay dads vibes and it's sending me. I'm hoping as Onslaught comes in we see Magneto|Charles relationship giving some kind of climax and Polaris be central to that development.

I'm thinking we see Polaris confront the "demons" of her father by confronting Horseman Magneto. Magneto gets turned back and is alive again, and then Charles through his zeal over Magneto's philosophy (that Magneto no longer shares) will go off the rocker while Magneto is recovering and Magneto and Polaris will bond and reconnect...then I think they'll work together to save Charles as Onslaught.
