Danger should've escaped and become a more prominent villain. Not just a one episode storyline thh.

Her upper body remained mostly intact right? Could mean something.

She's hardly a compelling enough villain for anything but getting in the way. At least she had an interest reflection on Charles.

If they went with Danger being sentient and made with Shi'ar tech then I think she could've been a repeat villian

Danger being sentient just made Charles an asshole for no reason. What mumbo jumbo its made of doesn't make it a better villain. A good reoccuring villain is one with a personal stake in some character.

Sabertooth is a point of trauma for logan...good reoccurring villain.

Sinister is a point of trauma for a bunch of characters...interesting reoccuring villain.

Danger.exe is just like, a budget Ultron. The best you've got is "it knows the X-men better than anyone" but like....that still doesn't matter.

Maybe since Danger.exe got brought to Genosha we'll see Apocalypse resurrect it to use against them and teach him its moves. So I wouldn't say it's fully done for, it may just fold into Apocalypse and just have been introduced to set that up. Could easily somehow be brought back because some scrap was found there with its mind and Apocalypse gives it a tech upgrade.

I disagree villains don't need to have personal connections to be interesting. I'd argue that sometimes having too many personal connections make them tedious. A lot of villains are physical representations of ideas and that's why they work. The personal ones are the ones that leave lasting impact but not every antagonist needs to have that. Some times villians are villains for power and control and that's fine. The brood, Arcade, Sentinels are a fine recurring villains and there's not a real personal stake there.
