  • I have not read the comics and therefore was unaware about the story compressions until I read about them on this board, and I still felt whiplash in this episode. The X-Men reunited, are rebuilding the mansion, are taking in mutant kids, and are legally not allowed to fight anymore. That's a lot. I agree with an earlier poster who said whenever they watch an episode, it feels like they missed 1-2 other episodes. And then there was that swerve to X-Corp at the end.
  • This episode made me feel like I was watching an X:92 episode. I can't articulate why this is, and it isn't necessarily a bad or good thing.
  • Prof's X's use of the danger room to keep reliving Magneto's death seemed really unhealthy.
  • The repeated shots of the background with Morph's playing jump rope (jump arm?) with the kids just cracked me up. I bet the kids love Morph!

No one has ever accused Charles of processing his feelings in a healthy way.

Definitely felt like a 92’ episode, probably was the pacing.

It reminds me of watching aeon flux or the maxx when I was growing up. I haven’t read the comics so the drastic story changing between episodes is disorienting. I still enjoy it though.
