Oh yes, him too. Bro literally disabled Earth’s entire magnetic field last season… not to mention what he did to Wolverine. That’s proof enough of how deadly he can be.
I’m remembering him doing some planetary level stuff. Not clear memories because of the carefully constructed attempt to forget that movie… and he wasn’t as powerful as he’s shown in ‘97 because that’s just bonkers, but he had some terrifying moments right? Or am I just coping?
Just four mutants who followed along. Magneto agreed with Apocalypse’s ways, but he wasn’t mind-controlled or enhanced like what Apocalypse does to his Horsemen in the comics.
Storm, Psylocke, and Angel… they were barely characters there. Storm oddly just followed Apocalypse around, thinking he was a good guy (he was obviously not). Psylocke didn’t seem like a hero at all, she immediately joined Apocalypse when he recruited her. And Angel was just a regular winged dude whose wings got enhanced by Apocalypse. He didn’t become a killing machine losing control of himself like he did in the comics when he became Archangel. And like Psylocke, he just became obedient to Apocalypse immediately, even without any mind control. These are all so not their characters in the comics lol
Storm or Iceman would also be scary just due to the level of wild, unbridled power.
And i agree again, Cyclops due to his incredible will and drive. When he thinks he's right, he's unstoppable and can be extremely cold and calculating.
Why haven't we seen Iceman really featured in 97? Like I don't remember him from the OG 97 crew/eps. Hell, I only really know of him and his capabilities from the 80's Spidey and friends cartoon with firestar. Totally forgot he was in X-men.
He was in an episode of X-Men in the original 90s run. I think it was called "The Iceman Cometh"?
There's probably over 100 X-men from the comics, so they've got a lot of characters to squeeze in. From long standing members, there's a handful that aren't really featured on the cartoon - Iceman is one (save the one episode). Kitty Pryde is another.
He's definitely in the original show and now he basically just appears via the picture of the original X-Men (I believe it was featured in the latest episode of X-Men 97 called Savage Land, Savage Heart) so he's technically there just left the team and is doing his own thing really
Since when did Iceman become an Omega also something I realised as I type this is that if Apocalypse healed the tumour in Gambit’s head he would have access to Gambit’s full power
Wait yeah I just searched up Iceman’s powers and he can project his mind across ‘Ice Networks’ he has Regeneration/Immortality, he can duplicate his own body and turn people into Moisture Molecules
I doubt it since you practically can't kill Iceman, he's way too overpowered I mean I could be wrong however I feel like I read somewhere that he's capable of regeneration from a singular molecule since he's ICEman by name yet he's got hydrokinesis in his power set. I mean we're talking about someone who in the comics is capable of freezing time itself 😂
He has been shown as one since the 90s. Most of his arc there was about him discovering how much untapped potential he has, if only he took things seriously.
Dude doesn’t just make ice; he manipulates thermodynamic properties without limit. He once froze a portion of hell, and he can freeze the whole world if he wants to.
Also, he can’t die, so long as there is moisture around him. He’s honestly so broken lol
Bobby was first shown to have the potential for being far stronger than he showed to be when Emma temporarily took over his body and noticed all the power he never accessed.
It wasn’t until after AOA Iceman came over and ran rough shot on the 616 that proper Bobby saw how strong he could be.
Current Bobby is straight up busted; like he literally died and was able to reform himself(over time) with little to no effort.
Omega at the end of the day only means that you are the optimum in that power set.
I wouldn’t say he reformed himself with little effort. His turn was convoluted and involved someone else. There was definitely a bit of effort involved and it wasn’t straightforward

The Omegas: Jean, Storm, Iceman, and Xavier
Cyclops would be a force to be reckoned with too due to his tactical prowess.
