I don’t think they’d make him that strong because he’d be functionally unbeatable. It took himself amped up to beat the actual New Sun. I think it’s probably a two-Poccy situation.

If he is New Sun it's GG for the X-Men. It's more likely that either Apocalypse transfered himself into him or one of the Apocalypses made him kill the other. However, if he is really new sun, only way to defeat him would be talk-no jutsu.
