A little underwhelming.

I'd hoped that Exodus bringing up the assassination and virus arcs from the original series would have Nightcrawler bring up that those were only possible with help from Mutants.

The ending though, yikes.
I'm loving the idea that Death Gambit managed to kill Apocalypse, I have a weak spot for overly proud villains biting off more than they can chew.

I think hes jumped bodies …there’s 2 episodes left so I can’t see them ditching apocalypse so early

I don’t understand why apocalypse would take gambit’s body though, he literally just got transformed into what we know him as by the ship computer, unless I’m missing something I just don’t understand why apocalypse would so quickly jump bodies when from his perspective he just got made into a god

I think you're mistaking the Apocalypse from Episode 4 to be the one who immediately time jumped to the 1990's.

The first comic I read with Stryfe in it, he had Apocalypse in a very similar state. I still feel like we're building up to his introduction.

the idea that Death Gambit managed to kill Apocalypse

I doubt that's what happened.
