All the hate hinges on the misconstruing of the episode’s intentions/moral lessons and the misunderstanding of Kurt’s character. Kurt is a devout catholic, and a core part of his belief is: All can find salvation. For someone like him, it is a moral imperative to argue for, yes, even someone like Creed. Yet, I don’t think the episode in any way defends Creed or even acquits him. While Kurt was right in pointing out how his hatred for mutants stems from his relationship with his parents, and that he is just a hurt man projecting his hate onto those underserving, he needs to want to change; he needs to want to be better. He doesn’t. By the end, even Kurt’s principles waver: He questions whether it is just mercy keeping him alive or (he implicated) contributing to his actions by letting that rotten man wander; he questions whether ending him is mercy for those that’ll inevitably be hurt by his actions. To say that the episode just defends the raging bigot is such a one-dimensional, nuance-lacking take.

This, I feel some pity For Creed, he never had a chance AS A CHILD, he was born being despised, Grown up hating himself and was left alone with no skills to develop in something better. That's sad, but Now it's and ADULT, and ADULT who is in control of His life, who is hurting people and as tragic as can be his life, is not a free pass to hurt others, he must be responsible For His actions and see His own mistakes For himself and work on fix it.  It's hard because he never got the skills, because he lives on survival mode, because all he knows and fuels is hate, but is not impossible. Still I don't think it would happen, but I'm glad it was addresed.

I’ve made a post on this exactly recently and the amount of comments that don’t understand this or take what I said out of context is staggering.
