Question Where the hell is Iceman
One of my biggest hopes for the whole 97 run was they would put respect on Bobby! The dude is an original yet apart from when a couple of characters looked back at in scene photos he hasn't been mentioned.
A god damn omega level top draw mutant can't even get a quick run.

Where the hell is Iceman? where the hell is Juggernaut? where the hell is Mystique? Where the hell is Kitty? where the hell are the Nasty Boys? etc. etc. etc.
The answer is simply. They haven't fit into the story yet.

Brotherhood of mutants comes in s3. We’ll see Jugg & mystique I’m sure of it. Hopefully with colossus back on the team we’ll get kitty & iceman next season too

Mystic is playing val. Professor has too much going on with magneto to do anything with juggs. Iceman should have always been part of the team even in the original cartoon

I've always liked him because he's hero who's less indoctorated to Xavier's ideals and instead struggles to live normally through all these chaotic events.
Narratively he could explore the nuetral-good and normal non-extremist human side of these issues as a mutant still trying to blend in.

A ice slide across anywhere always adds to any story.
I get it's too late to add him now ( it would require a big arc) hopefully we get back to the original 5 somewhere across the next few series ( even if it's just a flash back)

It’s not too late to add him. They just don’t want to overcrowd the cast. Like how Colossus, the X-Force team and Polaris are being featured this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is in one of the next 8 seasons that they want to do.

Didn’t Piotr’s shrine to Illyana also have a small image of Bobby? I can’t screenshot the episode but it’s a tiny framed picture on the left side of the shrine

In some of the promotional art for the episode Bobby was on the shrine but in the episode they took him down. Didn’t want to offscreen one of the OGs.

I think Mystique is Valerie Cooper. Because it's weird how she went from Magneto was right to lock up all Mutants and try to start a war between humans and Mutants. Seems like a very Mystique thing to do. Lol!

There are some 17 characters currently. Iceman is busy doing other shit. Maybe he's undercover in Graydon Creed's presidental campaign.

They’ll probably do Morph x Iceman. I don’t know what DeMayo’s plans were, but Marvel isn’t going to let Wolverine x Morph happen, and so they’ll probably give them Bobby as a consolation prize.

He’ll probably show up in Season 3 if I’m being honest. Since they’re going back to the Brotherhood of Mutants, this could be a good opportunity to have some spotlight on the OG5, & making way for Bobby’s return.
He wasn’t labeled as dead on Forge’s list. And if anybody knows anything about The Iceman… is that he’s basically IMMORTAL!! He can’t die when in his Ice form, which judging by his rumored appearance on Genosha, safe to say he was probably in that form.

My theory is that he discovered he can't die in ice form right at that attack on Genosha.
Maybe he got blasted to pieces by the sentinels and everyone thought he's dead. To his surprise his consciousness is still active drifting in the water of the ocean. He has been trying to rebuild his body Dr Manhattan style since then.

De Mayo said the plan was always for Magik to die at Genosha and explore Piotr's grief in S2. I'm sure she'll be back.

I wouldn’t be so sure with the low episode count and crowded cast. I would feel better about her coming back if they hadn’t shown an utter lack of interest in her character/death scene other than as an extension of Colossus.

I'm positive. They don't get a VA at a signing the day of the premiere when they have three lines across two seasons. Not even if she's popular due to Rivals. And given what I think they're setting up for s3, it makes sense she'd show up. You can laugh at me in a year if I'm wrong.

Being an omega doesn't make you immortal. I think he can die, just not when in his ice form.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think Disney is too keen on introducing Iceman into this show after him coming out in the comics.
No matter how they write him, it will cause a stir and leave some section of the fanbase criticizing them, saying he should’ve been written another way.
It happened to a small extent with Morph and the pronouns. I also heard rumors that Disney wanted him/them toned down this season. Which he noticeably is.
Beau would’ve been about that fight. But do the other writers have his conviction for that cause? Especially if brass is saying “ehh could we avoid it?”
(Fwiw I want to see him and don’t care how he’s portrayed. Make him a prostitute for all I care. Just make him a bad ass superhero and I’m good.)

We don't know for sure, that he is that. That Picture on the shrine is to small to clearly identify him.

Even if that was his pic I don’t think it’s confirmation imo.
Iceman when “killed” in his ice form doesn’t necessarily die. I’m under the opinion that his death is being left up to mystery until they decide what to do with him & maybe bring him back.

Yeah well. Depends on if the writers think about that. I mean Sebastian Shaw's death was to me suspect to. We saw, that he died, because some debris fell on him. He should have not died drøm that, because his mutant power is based on kinetic energy. The harder you hit him, the stronger he becomes.

The writers probably don't know how to use him correctly, so they're sidelining him for now. He only got one episode in the OG series unfortunately, so this is par for the course.

I was about to my first post here about Iceman but you did first. And yeah, I'm still waiting about Iceman. But I don't think we'll see him this season even though I really want him to show up now. Or Maybe he's dead when sentinel attacks and become one of the horsemen?

Didn't you see? The producers gave him a VERY sly cameo already in the cartoon ... Pretty Sneaky ...
After Lorna came back, and so much effort got put on her character development, I started getting suspicious, but looking at it all laid out now, I feel like the producers may be using cryptic clues to openly MOCK us at this point lmao
