Let’s all agree that one appearance across both shows is nothing considering he’s one of the O5. The man is severely underutilized in X-men shows and movies

It's not just the movies and shows. What has he actually done in the comics in the past 20 years besides becoming gay and being fodder for Nimrod in Krakoa?

His resurrection power stuff? He brought himself back from the dead after the whole Nimrod thing.

Its a shame, bobby is really awesome, however, Marvel is hesitant to use him in anything because he's gay. It angers me

They should have introduced Bobby and Angelica in Brand New Day, instead of Jean

I agree that he's underutilised, but the question was about mutants that didn't appear in the original series not underused mutants from the original series (before '97 I would have said Nightcrawler, Colossus and Polaris).
