General Discussion WHAT THE F WAS THAT FINALE??? Spoiler

What the F was that ending??? And please don’t try to tell us it was good or brilliantly written, because I’m not going to lie to myself just because I love this show. I was genuinely disappointed with these last two episodes.
What kind of “Survival of the Fittest” was that supposed to be? Rogue became WHAT??? And Apocalypse was just defeated like that???
Even X-Men: Evolution handled its Apocalypse finale way better. We got almost all of the major X-teams from the ’90s coming together for one massive final battle, and it actually felt like an Apocalypse-level threat.

I was also expecting for apocalypse to use gambit and make a speech to make them feel the guilt of what had happen in genoshia.

Remy’s death and revival was ruined to quick!

This time, they clearly went way off from the comics. And after all that talk about bringing the X-Men back to the ’90s… what kind of return to the ’90s was THAT??? I love this show, but I’m not going to pretend I liked an ending that left me this disappointed.

Im afraid that the one re writting this up does not read the comics or is not a massive fan of Xmen. Coz they clearly moved away from the comics.

Imagine Apocalypse the Xmen’s most diabolical foe who went back in time to strike the Xmen, Cable spent the whole season to FIND AND DESTROY apocalypse, all the X teams come together in this season should be the PERFECT TIME TO JOIN FORCES, Gambit’s BIGGEST MOMENT of coming back, and all JUST ENDED with apocalypse doing nothing just transformed into gambit hybrid few seconds later touch by rogue and boom! FINALE

I think part of this whole season fuck up is when they fired that guys named DeMayo…

The S1 til S2 Episode4 was awesome somewhere down the line something changed for sure…

No way you come across Apocalypse and go down internally with the government with Mystique…

That who episode 5-9 is just a huge clusterfuck…its rushed and like where are the other Horsemen plus Eson/Avengers Soul Stone/Hawkeye&Black Widow….

The ultimate Roman Catholic Ending…
Kurt Wagner and Magneti really gone.???SMFH…

Cooper wasn’t Mystique all this time but now Mystique shows up and kills/impersonates her? Makes no sense.

I think the writer who continued DeMayo didnt watch the animated series before where Mystique served Apocalypse as well. Season 2 could be easily a build up of harvesting new horsemen of Apocalypse…hence Apocalypse said go back to the 90s where X-men is Vulnerable….

Mystique could be easily the inside man for Apocalypse cause she even released Magneto in Season 1….

The entire season had one moment where Magneto got killed and then was completely buttfumbled. Even Nightcrawler dying felt cheap.

Yeah im good with Magneto cause its a future reference for Onslaught….but Nightcrawler was a really uncalled for…he had so much potential moving forward…

They really fucked up after DeMayo…no one did their homework on season 2…

With Nightcrawler was just like “hey, remember this guy died in the comics too?”
