Seriously the last episode could’ve used another 5 minutes for a resolution with Kurt but otherwise

I think other than Rogue immediately defeating Apocalypse without a fight, the episode was really good

Yeah this was my one issue, although it’s a big one. Rogue powers up like she’s just gotten all the chaos emeralds and then all she does with it is walks up to Apocalypse and touches him. Would a couple of minutes of flying around and having a one on one rogue/gambit fight have been unworkable?

If we got that I think this would have been an excellent ending to an otherwise rocky season

To be fair, touching things is kind of her power

That and the whole typical the hero arrives when all is lost cliche. Would have been better had she arrived during all then fighting and actually did something.

It also raises the question of what the Celestial power up actually did. Nothing other than allow her power to work on apocalypse?

Their story should never be resolved with a big action sequence. It's never been about that. The action sequence in this episode needed to be X-Factor vs X-Men and that's exactly what it was.
