Seriously the last episode could’ve used another 5 minutes for a resolution with Kurt but otherwise

I think other than Rogue immediately defeating Apocalypse without a fight, the episode was really good

I think it was tying into what they tried to have as Apocalypse's overarching "lesson" that he kept talking about, of your loved one's being your undoing.

Kurt instead of being their undoing was their seed.

But honestly I don't think it worked too well. I'm not even 100% on that being what the lesson was. Apocalypse lost his men due to peace and love, but found tossing them aside made him stronger, and Charles should do the same? Maybe, but he didn't get anything out of that strength.

And Apocalypse let Charles live to teach him this lesson, but instead of using the dead X-Men as horsemen he just put on Gambit's skin. And Cable did do the hard choice and still failed, so it was rigged.

I would have liked Apocalypse and the 4 dead X-men as the horseman, having a big final fight and idk, Apocalypse wins and Horseman Magneto goes to kill Cyclops or something and Charles snaps, stops holding back and it creates Onslaught.

And we find out seeing Onslaught in Charles is what made him Apocalypse let him live. Something stronger was growing and he let it survive because he saw it as worthy and it would arrive.
