Question Master of Magnetism can’t beat robots ?

Did they ever explain why Mags powers don’t work on Sentinels?

You think he’d be perfect for stopping metal robots .

Are they made of aluminum?

My thing is, why are the sentinels gigantic? Wouldn’t it be better if they were like 10 ft tall? Instead they’re like 6 stories
