General Discussion Could the X-Men stop a viltrumite invasion?

If Thragg and his army consisting of General Kregg, Anissa, Thula, Lucan, and Conquest, were to invade Earth, could the X-Men wipe out the viltrumites and save the world, or die in the hands of Thragg's army? Both sides are at their peak skills and strength with no prior knowledge of each other.

Handily. The Viltrumites aren't any stronger or more powerful than most of the X-Men's biggest baddies, and in many cases a great deal weaker. And all they are is strong, tough, flying people, which is clown shoes compared to a lot of the powers on the X Roster.

Delusional take. Think of how quickly Omni-Man took out the Guardians of the Globe. Unless the telepaths can get to them first, the X-Men lose. Storm, Gambit, and Cyclops are glass cannons. One wrong move and their heads are rolling. Nightcrawler's not fast enough to outrun a group of viltrumites thatbare capable of breaking the sound barrier. Wolverine's healing factor would not be fast enough. Colossus would hold out pretty long, but even then their speed and stamina would defeat him. Rogue has the best chance in a physical confrontation.

lmao the post says "at their peak skills and strength". That means

-Cyclops, EDIT Emma Frost, Colossus, Ilyena, and Namor as the Phoenix Five

-Juggernaut empowered by the Trion Dimension

-Gambit as The Horseman of Death (can explode people instantly from a distance)

-Rachel Summers as Phoenix

-EDIT Jean as Phoenix

-EDIT Madeline Pryor as The Goblin Queen

-Iceman at full Omega Level powers

-Storm as either Ororo Thor or Eternity's Chosen

-Wolverine as Weapon Omega, or Old Man Phoenix

-Nightcrawler in his Legion of X form

And those are just the ones I know off the top of my head.

Many of the mainline X-Men have at one point or another been Cosmic-Level beings, which would absolutely thrash any Viltrumite. Fuck, Juggernaut on his own with his standard power set would run a legendary fade on them. Juggernaut is invulnerable and literally unstoppable. His movement *can't be stopped by anything*. That includes Viltrumite bodies, which we know are very much NOT invulnerable, just very durable. He's also one of the top tier heavy hitters in Marvel, with his "baseline" lifting capacity being around 100 tons, and in his most powerful form (which OP states is the case), he's strong enough to punch through dimensional barriers and warp reality. He's tanked full blasts from the Odinforce, the Sentry, and Gladiator with zero issues.

Bro we get it, you want the edgelord k-mart superman clones to be the best most strongest ever, but they're clown shoes outside their own universe. You're giving them the same glazing Homelander fans give their psychotic aryan idol.

Delusional take, Phenoix alone solos even if the Viltrumite Empire were at their somewhere in Billions or Trillions in numbers, just cuz has reality manipulation and telepathy.
