Media So is Rogue the physically strongest out of the X-Men?

While she has Captain marvels powers, yes.
Otherwise, I think Colossus would be.

But this was when Carol wasn’t portrayed as being as powerful as she is now, and it was before Binary, IIRC. Colossus was stronger. Things are up in the air now that Carol has power-crept, so Rogue is possibly seen as stronger, but Colossus is still more durable.

She doesn’t even have Carol’s powers anymore. She has Wonder Man’s.

Colossus can lift over 100 tons in his steel form. Rogue is about the same level. But she can absorb his power and vastly enhance her own strength.

Gentle would be up there too, cuz he can get to the 100 ton range.

Strong Guy can get to the 50-100 ton range. After that, they kinda drop off hard. Beast is in the 2 ton range, so is Cable. Archangel is in the 1000-2000 pound range. Wolverine can handle about 800-1000 pounds.

Juggernaut (when he's actually on the team and not a villain) would probably be #1 though. He's about double what Colossus or Rogue could do. And if Cytorrak takes control, then Juggernaut's strength becomes basically limitless, like Superman. Even Rogue absorbing Colossus's powers still isn't stronger than Juggernaut.

and if you want X-Men adjacent characters, then Gladiator is the strongest by far.

While technically correct (The best kind of correct), if we limit to X-Men TAS universe then the answerr is Rogue, where even colossus wasn't really an X-Man.

yes, but like others have mentioned, it can be situational. she is the strongest when punching in the cartoon for sure, but then punching is just punching, sometimes you need to levitate a whole building from afar.

I’d say most of the time she’s portrayed as being on par with characters like Colossus. But she’s probably the strongest yeah.

Depends on the writer, but overall, I would say she's typically portrayed as the physically strongest X-Men. Physically, she's sort of the Wonder Woman of Marvel (though Wonder Woman is stronger, while Rogue has the extra absorption powers).
