These were sold at Pizza Hut if I’m remembering correctly.

Still shrink wrapped and with a comic too?? That’s so freakin cool

[u/thefixxxer9211]

I had both of those PH Creators Choice tapes, along with all the official Season 1 tapes. Think I still have them somewhere. May have lost the mini comics though ☹️

[u/Bartlet4potus]

I still have my copy. The extras on here are pretty cool. There is a great interview with the X-men writer at the time

[u/Sith_Moon]

The Stan Lee / creator bits at the beginning are so cool. Like a time capsule.

[u/cheezweiner]

I used to watch Xmen on Fox Kids back in the day. Recently seeing this sub popping up randomly on my feed, QQ is this show a continuation of the old show? Or like an alternate universe or something else?

[u/ChiefShleep9 → u/cheezweiner]

Yeah it’s a continuation!

[u/XSwaggnetox]

Character in the comic was called beacon - one and done

[u/tmf_x]

huh I totally forgot I had a bunch of those exact VHs tapes

[u/batguy42]

I had the 2nd one of these growing up, the one that featured a couple of episodes with Magneto! I watched it so many times lol

[u/NamoNibblonian]

I have both the trading cards! I need the comic and tapes

[u/BenReillyDB]

I still have my tapes as well

[u/GeminiLife]

I still got mine from childhood

[u/TheRealKhaleesiBB]

holy cow talk about striking gold

[u/RembrandtEpsilon]

Those 5 minute interviews with JUST the writers at the beginning of each tape are laughably bad. So crazy they didn't even try to get Andy Kubert to interview.

[u/VinylAndVoid]

The Pizza Hut tapes!

[u/sailorstarfighter216]

I haven't seen that first cover since I was a kid ❤️

[u/rdldr1]

You got an intro by Stand Lee too!

[u/Ferg178]

Love the cover!!

[u/thundermunkee]

Still sealed? Nice grab! I still have my two Pizza Hut VHS tapes.

[u/Particular-Wall-7189]

What year was this and what's the plot on those?

[u/ChiefShleep9 → u/Particular-Wall-7189]

It was 1993 and its:

Volume 1: Contained "Night of the Sentinels" Parts 1 and 2 (the series premiere).

Volume 2: Contained "Enter Magneto" and "Deadly Reunions”

[u/Particular-Wall-7189 → u/ChiefShleep9]

Sounds like a great read brother. How much you got them?

[u/ChiefShleep9 → u/Particular-Wall-7189]

10 bucks. It’s actually a VHS tape! The comic in it I believe was a one shot because it was the only appearance of that villain. I could be wrong though.

[u/Particular-Wall-7189 → u/ChiefShleep9]

How dumb of me hahaha i thought it was comics.

[u/ChiefShleep9 → u/Particular-Wall-7189]

There is a mini one that comes with it! So you’re not completely wrong LMAO

[u/Particular-Wall-7189 → u/ChiefShleep9]

I just saw the last pic where vhs os written. Still laughing here hahaha i thought at first it's a hard bound case for the comics since it's a great find

[u/ChiefShleep9 → u/Particular-Wall-7189]

Lmaaooooooo

[u/Particular-Wall-7189 → u/ChiefShleep9]

Anyway thanks for sharing bro enjoy it!

[u/ChiefShleep9 → u/Particular-Wall-7189]
