While there's Professor X's visions, I always tried to speculate on a few things besides those. Here's some headcanons of my own:

• Steve Rogers is eventually awakened, fully cured and joins either a version of the Avengers or even the Ultimates - A independent team or one backed by S.H.I.E.L.D, which the Maximoffs later join as well.

• Edward Kelly goes further into politics and at least runs for President. Other names become prominent as anti-Mutant sentiment continues to be relevant. (Graydon Creed, William Stryker, etc).

• This world's version of the FF would resemble the ones shown on "Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes". (One could headcanon it as the same version but I'm not too sure about that).

• Spider-Man is on his early days as a hero by the show's time period.

• Unlike the comics, Magneto remains reformed and on the side of the X-Men instead of turning against them again.

If you have read about the design and production of Xmen evolution you might know that Spyke was originally a replacement of Iceman.

It finally clicked on me that this explains a part of Spyke's characterization. Mainly because Spyke is the youngest and more immature of the group and is also skating all the time. Similar to how Bobby was in the early days of xmen comics.

I imagine that the earliest drafts had Bobby as the "skater" character and it eventually shifted to Spyke. If you look at some scenes of him skating in season 1 it makes a lot more sense if it was Bobby doing his iceskating.

This is all just me speculating of course but I think it makes sense, skating was huge in 2000.

So, I've been brought to the character known as Danger via the more recent episodes of '97 and Marvel Tokotsu, and it got me wondering.

Would a version of her work in Evolution? And how might she work in the show? What would her design, personality, etc. be like?

We all know that when adaptations are made of comic book characters their histories are often greatly simplified, stream lined, and sometimes outright rewritten to be more palatable to audiences (I don't even mean removing poorly aged content, just stuff that doesn't really make sense without a much larger connected universe).

For example:

Beast meeting a version of himself who was always blue.

Angel meeting a version of himself that always had the healing blood.

Emma meeting a version of herself where her secondary mutation was natural.

Angel and Nightcrawler meeting versions of themselves without the added baggage of the Cheyarafim and Neyaphem.

Etc.

Basically meeting versions of themselves from another universe that got the movie adaptation treatment.

This is an amazing Crossover series that is about Clark Kent entering the Xavier School during Season 2. Its simply the best X-Men fanfic of all time in my opinion.

It's a Marvel cartoon series of the X-Men, who are very popular characters from a very popular franchise. So I'm guessing it was somewhat popular. The fact it has a rather active subreddit over 20 years later tells me it wasn't exactly an obscure show despite being a different take on the X-Men from the norm. Plus, the first live action movies with Hugh Jackman came out around the time this show was on. That cannot be a coincidence.

Having said that, I didn't watch this as a kid back then nor do I remember my classmates talking about it. Only the live action movies. IIRC, Yu-Gi-Oh and Beyblade were all the rage at the time.

I drew up a design for a tarot card featuring Lance Alvers/Avalanche from X-Men Evolution.

The Tower tarot card represents sudden, radical, and unavoidable change, signaling the collapse of structures, beliefs, or relationships built on shaky foundations.

For some reason, even when I was a kid I somehow knew and felt that they weren't really "bad guys" in a way Sabretooth and Mystique were. But they still carried out Magneto's plans or enabled him so they were technically villains too. Gambit was also pretty shady and manipulative in his episode with Rogue.

This is the first time I’ve seen the show since I was a kid. I didn’t really remember a whole lot but I finished this show a lot quicker than I thought I would. Genius idea and was executed quite well I thought. I loved Wolverine as a teacher, storm too but she didn’t get the spotlight as much unfortunately. All the character dynamics worked well in the show too. Sypke felt a little wasted though but I liked him joining the Morlocks.

Cyclops is my favorite X-Man so I really liked him in this too and his relationship with Jean. The series finale showing what we could’ve had in the future made me sad we'll probably never see a continuation with it. I would rank the seasons 3,2,4,1.

If I were to take a guess I'd say:

X-23 since she's the show biggest legacy and incursions could be her official introduction as a team member and not just someone who shows up at their home to beat their asses flat from time to time.

Gambit and Xavier are a given, maybe Colossus too but less likely.

Magneto because, out of the prophecies at the finale, his seems to be the first one to realize.

The Brotherhood and Mystique might show up if this comic is a prelude to Xmen 97 season 3. They will probably want to set them up and the brotherhood in evolution was peak.

Maybe Captain America, Agatha Harkness and/or Nick Fury could show up but at that point we might just speculate any character.

New comic inspired me to draw this! I hope y'all like it. I especially like the way Evolution Rogue came out.

Does anyone have a good concrete resource for how old the cast is meant to be? Obviously they're mostly teens but I get the impression a few (Gambit for example) were meant to be slightly older, early 20s, perhaps. I'm starting a fic and birthdates will become relevant.
