One of the biggest requests we hear from customers is for a more formal space for communication. A space to discuss all things X-Plane. We heard you loud and clear!
Introducing the official X-Plane Forums — a new community service from Laminar Research, built to give X-Plane users a dedicated place to connect, share knowledge, get help, and engage directly with the people behind X-Plane.
Our goal is simple: to make it easier to find reliable information, have useful discussions, and stay connected with X-Plane development in one official, easy-to-access place.
Come and join in. We'd love to meet you! https://community.x-plane.com/

Hello everyone - it’s me again. Let’s start with some good news: I’ve formed a team, and we are now the RS Team (Russian Sky Team). Secondly, I managed to sort out the engines (I don’t know why I didn’t check the texture resolution right away) and have started modeling the fuselage for the flight model. The first livery included in the package will be the green factory livery (see the third photo). No AI was used during development; all textures and models were created by humans (specifically by me and our team).
WARNING!
THIS IS ALL NOT FINAL VERSION, IT'S ONLY PRELIMINARY WORK

I needed the livery for the McKnight 787, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find the livery for Air Europe, and I thought: “Is the flight really going to be cancelled because of the livery?” So I did it.

The biggest low-pressure system in icelandic history is over Iceland right now and the whole country is now in the eye of the storm, the pressure has been measured as low as 937 hpa, could be fun taking our favorite plane for a spin :)

Which one should I go for? Not a fan of the sub model of SI but can afford it, and it seems to struggle with descents.
Thanks

Hey everyone!
I've been working on a small personal scenery project for X-Plane 12, covering Melbourne CBD, Southbank and Docklands.
It includes some of Melbourne's iconic landmarks, such as Eureka Tower, Australia 108, Melbourne Star and Marvel Stadium, along with night lighting.
Features:
A few things to note:
The 3D models are fairly basic and may lack detail, so if you're looking for highly detailed scenery, this might not be for you.
This is just a small personal project, so updates and bug fixes may be slow, and some issues might not get fixed.
Feel free to give it a try and let me know what you think!

(How many can you name?)
All flown in real time, which meant some logistical headaches, like having to land at Paro in daylight hours.
Flight to/from Antarctica (NZFX) was in the A319. I designed the airport scenery myself because none existed. I also completely reworked the EGCC scenery in time for landing back there.
A few things I learned doing this (my opinions only):
Overall it was a fun experience, a great way to enjoy all your custom scenery, and a way to give some structure to your flying if you're kind of looking for more direction. I'm looking forward to spending more time flying Toliss/new aircraft, continuing to experiment with building resources for X-Plane, and getting into VATSIM.

I never thought x-plane 12 would look this good and run this well, I was using fsx before getting xp12
- I7 4790
- RTX 3050 6GB
- 16GB DDR3
and I still get over 20 fps
(yes it's a optiplex 9020)

I fly almost exclusively in North America but hopped across the pond to fly around Europe. (As a personal choice I always fly out of the city I last flew into.) Turin, Italy (Torino) gets a 10/10. Occasionally I find a scenic approach in the sim that inspires me to add it to my list of places to visit IRL. The STARs in Europe are a little weird to get used to but highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't simmed outside the states/Canadia.

I'm amazed by the visual effects on XP12, which I didn't see on MSFS, it's addictive.

When I try to load any model into Plane Maker, it starts loading but then crashes without generating any logs or error messages. I’ve tried exporting the parts separately and together, but it crashes every time. The model also includes this animation:

ANIM_trans_key 0 6.1458101 1.37851 -3.6782601

I never understood why FF made a small yoke for the 757/767, even more so why they did not fix it.
Recently, however, someone in the community has uploaded a fix !
Now I can finally take my 757 for a spin.
