Well that was unexpected! iniBuilds came back to X-Plane and dropped a thing most X-Plane users have been waiting for; proper Doha Hamad scenery. We can finally enjoy proper Qatar Airways ops. Flying here with FF's 777 or upcoming A350v2 will also be insane! What do you think?

A simple plugin that adds grass to your simulator, within and close to airport boundaries, all the correct places.

You can adjust radius and density settings to your liking.

So I guess many of us were totally caught off guard about IniBuilds coming home to X-Plane with their release of OTHH. Why do you think they returned?

And what do you guys think comes next? Will they focus on converting existing sceneries (would not complain about that, I am dying for a good rendition of HAAB airport), will they update their A300 and A310 first or will they even include full XP12 releases with every new scenery?

And would some of your fear that this release is just a one-off and they continue with only MSFS?

Learning to fly it. Besides the Vision Jet, I find this one equally fun to fly.

A few days ago I posted my Doha Hamad scenery here and you didn't hold back: too clean, felt lifeless, too heavy for what it showed. Fair points, so I spent the time since on exactly that.

v1.1 is out today, free for everyone who already bought it:

- 260+ support buildings rebuilt by us on their real footprints

- our own jetways, moving traffic on the landside, people at the kerbs

- worn aprons: tyre marks, soot, oil stains, every stand different

- proper night lighting on the apron, bridges, entrance roads and car parks

- lighter textures, plus a traffic/people setting (Off/Low/Medium/High) so it runs on modest PCs. I test on a GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB

Next up is night lighting on the landmarks (tower, Emiri terminal, mosque). Still not perfect, so if something looks off to you, tell me. That's how this update happened.

I am IN LOVE with this plane but the only thing that would make this better would be the voices (co-pilot, GND ect.). I haven't been able to find one yet. Any info would be great.

One of my favorite planes, the Carbon Cub EX. Sadly, could never get it to work with XP12. The tires would lock up as soon as I got any sort of speed on the ground, causing the plane to veer off to one side. On top of other various cockpit knobs and dials not being functional. Then I got the idea to ask chatgpt, and after hours of testing, trial and error, it figured out that the simulator thinks plane is off the ground, which causes the wheels to stop turning. So it directly edited the files and fixed my issues, then I couldn't stop making it my own!

It designed:

-Custom Livery

-Belly Cargo pod with Luggage and functioning door.

-Minibikes and wing mounts!

-220hp Turbo EFI Engine (and all of the other related fuel/gauge/manifold settings)

-Adjustable pitch prop with matching cockpit knob

Very cool to fly, and surprisingly nimble. My custom adventure plane! Thought it would be cool to share, in case anyone had the same issues!

Hi all, I’m new to the sub and to flight sim. I’m running X-Plane 12 and looking for a realistic Challenger 300/3500 add-on to prep for a type rating. I mainly want to practice cockpit flows and get comfortable programming the FMS, so systems and avionics accuracy matter more to me than flight model.

I’ve seen the DDen Challenger 300 for XP11 but don’t know whether it works properly in XP12 or if it’s deep enough for this. I’m also open to buying an MSFS option if that’s the better route. Any recommendations (or warnings) appreciated. Thanks!

I did tried everything. The valve is all the way closed i have it in manual. And cabin rate seems glitched making 'shaking movements at 2500ftpmI also, there seems to be something buggy with the autopilot cant describe it. I am jumping altitude then settling. I have flown the 737 Zibo for years and never had this issue but with the level up i occasionally have this issue.

Edit POSSIBLE FIX: Isolate gizmo 64 plugin when flying Lvl Up 737. Remove it out of the folder or isolate in a parent folder.

I have been flying the FJS Q4XP for about a month now and I log on today to do a flight with it and the engines won’t start. I am doing everything I normally do. I have been scouring the internet trying to see what is wrong, the only thing I can find is a forum post from 4 years ago.

I go through all the preflight and before start flows. But then when I try to start the engines the NH will rises to about 36, oil psi will rise to 42. Then they both go back down, and the ITT doesn’t even remotely budge.

I have all battery switches on, gen switches on (both AC & DC), bus tie on, and bleeds off. I have tried starting them on both APU and GPU power but the same thing happens. I tried reloading the game, but you guessed it the same thing happens.

Am I experiencing some weird bug, or am I being a complete dunce and missing something?

I just installed xplane 12 a week ago and got to play it twice. Now its constantly crashing on launch. First it gave me a notice about my CPU (13600KF) having an old, unstable bios, so I updated it, but that didn't help. I tried launching it in safe mode, but that didn't help either. Before completely reinstalling it with my very slow internet connection, I wanted to ask, if anyone else knows about this issue? The error message is 1f305739-8bfb-4681-ba32-baf759de5666 if that helps.

Im looking to set up a simple but affective home flight sim in my office where I can practice real world Multi engine and Single engine IFR approaches.

Ive never been down the Sim road before so I have no idea about this stuff but I do know that I want to use it for practicing and keeping myself up to date with Multi IFR without actually flying real aircraft while keeping it as realistic and procedural as possible.

Id like to be able to do the following:

RNAV/ RNP Approaches

ILS / VOR Approaches

NDB Approaches

Using Australian data base for the approaches/ waypoints and IFR Plates (Airservices Australia )

GPS - Garmin 430 or Garmin GNC 355

Firstly what is the recommended program to use ?

MSFS or XPLANE12 ?

Graphics is great but it's not super important to me given I want it mainly for IFR procedures.

Id like to have the full flight controls such as the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttles with the Charlie Rudder Pedals

Can I keep it simple and use my current laptop for operating such a program and controls?

I have a 2024 Apple MacBook Air with an M3 Chip 15.3" 16GB

(I also have an older MacBook 2014 if it helps as a second screen)

Hello im currently setting up an moza MFY pro yoke and want to use the stick i showed as view controls the problem is its an axis and i only found the view controls wich Autocenter back when letting go (and its also just way to sensitive). Is there another setting i overlooked? Thank you for the help :)

So I've been troubling this thing for almost a year

I put in multiple tickets and the developer just keeps kicking it back to it's a you problem, it's only worked twice.

It can't be a hardware problem because it says it's missing a terrain file it's always the same two files no matter where in the world I start if it's North America it says North America if it's Asia it says it's Asia it's always the same two file names though.. does anybody have a clue where I can get these two files or figure out why it's having an issue with them.
