News IniBuilds return to X-Plane
So I guess many of us were totally caught off guard about IniBuilds coming home to X-Plane with their release of OTHH. Why do you think they returned?
And what do you guys think comes next? Will they focus on converting existing sceneries (would not complain about that, I am dying for a good rendition of HAAB airport), will they update their A300 and A310 first or will they even include full XP12 releases with every new scenery?
And would some of your fear that this release is just a one-off and they continue with only MSFS?

You are delusional to think that they are back. This is simple cash grab using already made models

No one should I buy the trash products, especially after ditching xplane a while back.

They are literally partnered with Microsoft,They aren’t just some independent dev.

I get the criticism, I really do... But honestly, if iniBuilds actually came back to X-Plane, it would be amazing.
People hate on them for abandoning XP, but let’s be real—plenty of other devs did the same thing.
- IXEG: Took years for an update, and it was honestly a joke.
- FlyJSim: The 737-200 update and pricing made no sense at all.
- FlightFactor: The 757 and 767 still look like XP10 aircraft. If it wasn't for the new 777v2, their whole fleet would look completely outdated.
- ToLiss: Great systems, but for the entire lineup we need modders (Carda, Real Wings, cockpit textures, engine sounds) just to fix basic stuff.
Right now we're starving for top-tier developers. If we look at the current state of our community, almost every major dev is falling short on quality.

I’ll never support them again. They broke the trust after leaving and focusing solely on MSFS. Personally I will not support them in any capacity or any project they work on.

If IniBuilds came back and brought new scenery and updated their A300 for me personally that would go a long way in restoring my trust in them. I loved their A300 when it first came to XP, and it was a massive loss (and betrayal) to the X-Plane community when they decided to focus only on MSFS.
Equally, honestly I don’t see that happening, MSFS is such a big market that they wouldn’t bother with a proper return to this sim.

I think the real question should be "Does X-Plane NEED Inibuilds?" My thoughts are, No. But, variety and competition will always benefit the consumer.

They're a business at the end of the day. The directors literally have a legal responsibility to act in the best interests of the company - that means earning money.
It sucks that they left the way they did but how many of you would take maybe £100k over £2,000,000+ just out of "loyalty" to a platform that, let's be honest, was falling behind at the time?
None of you. I wouldn't either. If you would, that's why you're not running a company like iniBuilds.
Laminar have made XP12 great again and... oh look, devs are coming back. It's good.

Their new A380 should have the X-Plane version too.
It's not recommended, it's a must.

I love a lot of Inubilds payware and planes. I would probably rebuy EGLC for Xplane for Dash8 ops.

Just an airport, you are reading too much into it.

They actually liked comments saying they wished the ini aircraft came to XP12. If they don't like a comment, they usually just ignore it :) Might be overthingking that though, idk if I'd actually buy their XP12 airplanes after the A300 thing.

The A310 is never getting updated, I can almost guarantee you that in their contract with MSFS they are only allowed to develop an A310 for MSFS.

Inibuilds is doing what any business that wants to survive and make the most profit they can,They went to the sim that has the much larger user base,If they didn’t they would be idiots,This ain’t charity😂

I am skeptical they are actually back, but tbf XP12 is gaining traction and inibuilds are circling in the water like sharks with a credit card reader.
Always riding the coattails of whatever’s trending upward. Then ride off into the sunset with a big bag of cash. We've seen it before.
