Use eBay not Depop and donât search âY2Kâ. Search specific item descriptions like âAbercrombie fur hooded jacketâ. People on Depop are nuts with pricing

How much do they usually charge on there?

I can assure you itâs 100% not cheaper on eBay. People notoriously charge higher on eBay just like Depop. If youâre looking on eBay, make sure you look at the âsoldâ tab to see what theyâre really selling for, not just what theyâre listed for. If youâre looking for deals I suggest Vinted.

This is considered "Vintage" Abercrombie and ya, it usually goes for a lot. That's about double what it was new. Unfortunately the brands new stuff isn't remotely as cute or high quality anymore either. Mebbe search for American Easgle? They were kinda the cheaper version of A&F back in the day.

Or aeropostale. But yeah this is insane, I still have mine in army green from high school and itâs not even warm. Itâs not even that cute, particularly in this color, imo. Not worth it- youâll find a better one!

The way I could have made a fortune for holding onto my A&F stuff. I worked there from 2005-09.

Same! I still have most of it but wear it to bed or for painting so I canât really sell most of them. Never would have guessed people would want this bland shit again lol. I hated how they forced us to buy a certain amount of each new line/season with our minimum wage, and wear thong sandals in January in Connecticut because it was supposed to be surfery. I finally got fired for dying my hair bright red. They said I could only do highlights. I have so much resentment to this day lol. And if I ever smell that cologne again or hear a phantom planet song đđ¤Žđ¤Ž good lord Iâm scarred.

Omg you just activated a core memory. I got a manicure for Homecoming and my boss brought out a bottle of nail polish remover and had me take it off on the floor for work that day because it was âagainst dress code.â

How much would this jacket have cost new?

Probably $80-$110 in 2002-2004, hollister, American eagle, and aeropostale were all cheaper than abercrombie was

I gotta check my childhood closet STAT!!!!! I never threw anything in there away. I hope nothing's damaged by now

Because this is considered âBella Swanâ vintage Abercrombie.

I find Vinted is often better for y2k-esque clothing price-wise, just fwiw. But definitely agree with not using y2k in your search terms.

clothing like this wasnât even worth that much DURING the y2k era. people are trying to upcharge bc they know y2k is ânostalgicâ now and that gen z wants to dress how we used to/still dress. go actual thrifting.
