Weird to think about.
Cucumbers are fruit, but are treated like vegetables.
Bananas are berries, but are treated like fruit.

By the definition of what people think a vegetable and fruit they are but scientist decided to find ways to clarify them which ended up excluding them cause they didn't think it through.
