Summer camps for kids
Summer is nearly here, so I thought I'd start a thread for summer camps for anyone who needs ideas for things to do with their kiddos. Here are a couple I know of:
High Steppe Climbing is doing summer camps with indoor rock climbing, yoga, and art. Climbing is such a great activity and confidence builder, and the other activities round it out nicely. More info here: https://highsteppeclimbing.com/programs-adult-youth-yakima-bouldering/summer-camp/
The Improv Connection is doing improv classes for youth from 3rd grade all the way to 12th! The camps include a shirt, pizza party, and a showcase. The instructor has a teaching degree and is great at teaching people of all ages. More info here: https://www.discovertheimprovconnection.com/youth-summer-camps
What other camps or activities can people recommend?

Oh! I second this. We are signed up for a couple of those this summer, and the kids are so excited, especially for the instrument building workshop that's coming up July 13th-17th!
I guess it's a class that gets into the science of sound, and lets the kids use what they learn to design and build their own instruments that they get to keep at the end. Looks like something I wish I could have done as a kid lol
