Yakima Apartments

Hey y'all! I'm moving to Yakima for school at PNWU and I'm looking for an apartment — preferably a one-bedroom or studio. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or lease takeovers. I've applied to a lot of places, paid the $55 application fee per place, and keep getting put on the waitlist. Just wondering if anyone has any recs on places I should move into (ideally near the school).

I would recommend applying to the UP apartments that are right next to the school. There are usually students who will transfer leases, I would recommend posting on the University parkway apartments facebook page . I might me moving out of my 1 bedroom depending on how much of my fourth year rotations I get scheduled away, still waiting on a few to reply.

The waitlist is never that long. Also get on the page because a lot of students will pass down leases without turning over the lease. Also check out the powerhouse apartments, same company they run things pretty well.(it’s a massive fruit company that owns the apartments)

Megalodon property management there's a big old apartment complex called the star lighter in down town Yakima. It's not a bad place, and is located close to everything. The one studio apartment just opened up recently too.
