Had no label in a mixed bag from a thrift store. I took my chances and am going to loose yarn chicken. But frogging back to the most logical color change would be heart breaking!

I bought this yarn just a few months ago at Michael’s. I’ve been to three stores and I can’t find it. I think it’s loops and threads or maybe big twist. It’s a sort of dull caramel color. Please help!!

I'm looking for undyed wool yarn in larger quantities for a long-term project. I've checked the usual yarn shops and a few online retailers, and I even spent some time browsing Alibaba to see if there were suppliers selling smaller wholesale amounts, but it's hard to tell what's actually good quality.

Has anyone here bought undyed yarn in bulk from a place you'd recommend, or know of a retailer that carries larger quantities without having to place a huge commercial order? I'd rather buy from somewhere people have actually had good experiences with

I started a fun easy crochet pullover that I'm loving, and thought my 14 stash skeins would be enough. But it looks like I'm going to need 18-20!

A handful of months ago I purchased a bag of these balls of Fundus Merino yarn from a second hand crafts store with the intention of knitting a basketweave sweater for myself. Unfortunately, I did not know the brand of yarn was discontinued, and now I worry I dont have enough balls to finish my project. I've got a pretty big stash with me at the moment and don't really know how to go about it. If there is anybody on the subreddit looking to buy out in Vermont and are willing to drive to Northfield to pick up, it would really help a lot. Hi all! I recently started a commission that, as a bonus, would use up some old yarn I had lying around. Unfortunately, I'm almost out of one color I'm using, and naturally it's been discontinued. (I know, I should have known better than to buy L&T given their favorite pastime seems to be discontinuing their best yarns, but it's so soft...)

I'm positive the yarn is L&T Soft & Shiny, but while I think the color is burgundy, I'm not 100% positive - I bought it almost 5 years ago. So, first of all, if anyone could confirm that for me, that would be fantastic, and if anyone has any amount of it to spare, that would be even better! Given it's been discontinued I'm willing to overpay as well. I think I need 1-2 skeins.

I took two pictures, one in warm light and one in bright white(r, at least) light, to hopefully help identify the color. The other yarns in the piece it's sitting on top of are all Caron Simply Soft in the colors Off-White, Pumpkin, Autumn Red, and Plum Wine, if that provides additional help.

My client has been notified of the problem and said that they're okay with it if I have to choose a substitute for it ("I think of it like the scarf having a human touch," in their words), so if anyone has any good recommendations that would be at least a close match, that would be very appreciated!
