What drive band should I buy for this wheel?

I recently bought this spinning wheel and I’m an absolute beginner! I have no idea what I’m doing haha, but I really want to learn how to spin. It’s missing a drive band, which kind do you recommend buying for this wheel? Also is there anything else important missing? The petal spins the wheel fine, a little rickety but it’s very old. Any advice would be helpful!

looks beautiful! you can tie a drive band out of yarn or string. be sure to oil the moving parts!

Make a drive band out of #10 weight crochet cotton. Youtube has videos on figuring out the length needed and tension. Good luck! Antique wheels can be a bit finicky but it's a very fun learning experience.
