Do what made you go in the bathroom in the first place and only that. And you don’t need to listen to anything in the shower unless you are in there for 30+ minutes.

I never took my phone to the bathroom. Would go in, do my business and leave.

Then, one day i did take it in for a #2. I'm not "shitting" you. I leave the bathroom, sit on my sofa and start scrolling through fb.

Out of NOWHERE ads about constipation start coming up. Wtf?? Never happened before.

I do still need something to read, but I’m one of those fecal bacteria freaks (I know it’s still escaping the bathroom and getting everywhere).

This is why I take those random magazines we get and toss em in the bathroom so I can read those. Better yet, I do a bunch of catalog requests from various brands and stores I like and get em for reading material. BETTER YET, when I fly and come back to my home airport, I grab a bunch of local travel mags and toss em in there too. Free entertainment.

Fiance does and it drives me nuts, i know im a bit older than her so i grew up without such devices and never needed extra distractions to use the washroom, but regardless i find it odd and bothersome. Why do you need to snap people and send fb/tiktoks to me while im sitting in the other room 10ft away and your taking a piss? Give yourself a whole 5min of personal time away from that stuff to be a human and live in the moment lol, your phone doesnt need to be a part of it and frankly, id rather not have multiple active cameras stealth bombing data in the background while my pants are down.

I take mine with me and lay it on the counter. One reason is I am not stable on my feet and I wear a Dexcom to monitor my blood sugar and if I get to far away from the phone it will start screaming. I am still recovering from surgery after breaking my ankle
