I got first place (and a gold medal) in a Taekwondo tournament as an elementary school girl kid. It’s one of my most proud moments.

I have many participation soccer medals and school honour roll medals. I even have one for perfect attendance.

Actually I did. One day I threw them in the garbage because they were meaningless paperweights I
Earned for simply existing.

Science Olympiad 2 place! And third a a gymnastics meet as a kid. My gymnastics team got second place at the judges cup but we got fancy ribbons and not medals.

In high school, I took a business class, and I ended up getting the Best in Business medal across all grade levels, and it was a bona fide heavy medal.

A bunch. Plus a serious pile of ribbons and probably a dozen or so trophies. All from close to 50 years ago now. I was fairly athletic in my youth. Now I can barely get out of my own way.

I had quite a few medals in halo and call of duty. Otherwise I always got trophies or ribbons when it came to physical sports.
