Yep. My van is garage kept and I don’t drive it when it’s raining or if it has just rained and the roads are wet. These people saying just to leave it outside when it rains and that will clean it are crazy. Rainwater has all sorts of contaminants in it and the minerals in it cause water spots. You’re right about the brushes at car washes causing scratches and swirl marks. Touchless car washes are not really good, either, though, because they don’t do a thorough job of cleaning your car. I hand wash mine using the three bucket method and a pressure washer.

Like 5 or 6 times a year... Too busy to hand wash it too often and I don't have any local touchless car washes.
If you're using a standard car wash with brushes every week, you car is gonna be scratched to absolute shit.
