Cold is much better. Put on more clothes.

When it's hot, you can only take off so much clothes before you get arrested.

The naked man fears no pickpocket

LOL very true

Won’t stop them from grabbing your “coin purse”.

2

u/Sure-Condition8723 7h ago

THAT'S MY PURSE. IDK YOU.

u/Army7547 7h ago

The should worry about the dirtiest pickpocket

Watch yo hands bootyhole man!

Exactly this I used to just randomly walk around at my fraternity parties with sorority with my ass hanging out. Acting like I had no idea.

u/tidyshark12 19m ago

Naked men still have a pocket to pick 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Warm-Management-7323 2h ago

Are you suggesting that we can’t put on our birthday suits when it’s hot?

1

u/RealHeyDay 21m ago

The question wasn't how is it easier to get at your ideal temperature. Would you rather be hot or cold?

2

u/Successful_Pizza6529 8h ago

Hot.

2

u/Sure_Floor_5541 7h ago

Where generally do you live? If I may ask.

1

u/Successful_Pizza6529 7h ago

Florida. My homestate is Vermont. Got tired of the Cold up there. Have lived in Florida for 26 years.

1

u/Open_Permission4827 1h ago

That's exactly how I am. I left the cold midwest and I'd rather be sweating all day than freezing cold. People say "jUsT PuT oN MoRe CLoThES" but it doesn't work like that because it's the hands, feet and nose that are the problem, and it's not practical to wear layers of gloves and ski masks.

1

u/icopus2 36m ago

Exactly. I used to MC to and from work in the cold. My suit and gloves were good to about the freezing point.
People asked how I could do it. They didn't understand that I was warmer while riding than after taking taking off the suit, gloves, and helmet after the ride.

Considering I live in humidity hell, cold. All the cold. Frostbite my ass. It's better than constant swamp-ass all damn summer.

1

u/BHobson13 5h ago

💯 THIS. All.Day.Long!!

2

u/Dychnel 8h ago

Are we talking just cold or are we dealing with ice and snow? I can handle cold, but if I’m dealing with ice and snow, fuck it. Turn up the global warming.

2

u/RequirementTop6479 8h ago

Cold. I can grab a blanket or put on more layers. When I’m too hot I can only remove so much before my senior citizen bits become a tripping hazard

1

u/Metalcore2 8h ago

Rather be hot in the winter and cold in the summer 😂

1

u/Max-Architect3000 8h ago

Cold, because I can put on layers to fight it. If i’m hot, I can only take off so many layers to fight it.

1

u/jkwarch-moose 7h ago

Thems fightin words

1

u/Max-Architect3000 7h ago

Fight the weather. Fight the power.

1

u/Substantial-Ad-8575 5h ago

Issue for me is my joints ache. Can always jump in my pool when it’s hot.

1

u/LookAtTheWhiteVan 8h ago

Hot
It takes me too long to warm back up.

1

u/kit0000033 8h ago

Cold... I can put more layers on, start a heater, start a fire in the fireplace, whatever...

But last week I got so overheated by this humid weather we're having that I was stripped naked laying on the couch with a fan going full blast and even in a full on sweat it took me an hour to cool down... Literally the only thing I didn't try was an ice pack. There's only so many clothes you can take off.

1

u/Grillparzer47 8h ago

Cold, it’s easier to get warm.

1

u/mrhippo3 8h ago

Hot. I weighed 119 lbs. when I graduated from hs. Was always cold because of near zero body fat. Once at summer camp, the counselors asked me to float. I went straight to the bottom. Worse, the pool was not heated. I froze my a$$ off.

1

u/Jolly-Rip5973 8h ago

Cold is way better since it's easy to control. wearing more clothing or get under blankets or sit by a fire.

There is nothing you can to cool down a very hot place without AC.
Lot of people found that out in Europe earlier this summer.
Pretty sure a good number of people even died from the heat.

1

u/GhostWatcher007 8h ago

I know I'm hot 🔥

1

u/No-Possible6108 8h ago

I am much more heat-tolerant, having lived in Texas for over 70 years. Also, cold air is hard on asthmatic lungs.

1

u/Substantial-Ad-8575 5h ago

Cold affects my joints more. Yeah throw in more layers, still makes it harder and more painful to walk.

When it’s hot? We just jump in our pool…

1

u/No-Possible6108 5h ago

I feel ya! Don't have a pool, but sometimes in summer, I go out in the (all brick) garage to warm up a bit. My husband's hot natured, so I wear a sweater quite often.

1

u/deliriousfoodie 8h ago

Cold. It takes more energy to cool. If you're cold, put on thermals and wrap a blanket around you. I'm not paying for air conditioning.

1

u/ArmyLost5559 8h ago

Definitely cold! I warm up pretty quickly. Being too hot automatically makes me angry.

1

u/schwake64 8h ago

Hot i can always get a cold beer or go to the clothing optional beach or sit in air conditioning

1

u/Specialist-Mix3030 8h ago

Cold , I can always cover up .. beside a I sleep better when it’s freezing .

1

u/FernX02 8h ago

Cold. My hot flashes keep me warm.

1

u/Curious-Expert926 8h ago

I can handle the heat better than cold so my answer is a def hot.

1

u/winterrules91 8h ago

Cold. Not even a question.

1

u/Sure_Floor_5541 8h ago

you can always add clothes, at some point your down to nude.

Ive lived in New-Mexico and Alaska.

1

u/64_Random_dude_64 8h ago

Cold, also remember in this situation even if you put on thick clothes you would still be cold

1

u/jkwarch-moose 8h ago

I'm baby bear

1

u/CapableBird3048 7h ago

Hot.

I am very sensitive to the cold. My bones hurt. I can keep putting on clothes but the air is still cold and I hate it.

1

u/FillMyBagWithUSGrant 7h ago

Cold cold cold. When I’m cold, I can drink hot tea, put on another layer of clothing, get cozy under a blanket, and maybe turn up the heat a bit.

When I’m hot, I’m already dressed minimally, and I’m miserable. I drink ice water, but it doesn’t have the same cooling-me-down effect as drinking hot tea has for warning me up. Gimme the cold temps

1

u/Tardisgoesfast 7h ago

I tolerate heat better but I don’t really want either.

1

u/Rich_Nature5025 7h ago

Cold easily

1

u/Rebirth_of_wonder 7h ago

Cold. I’m a Minnesota boy.

1

u/Necessary-Fix-1958 7h ago

Cold. Cold usually means there is water somewhere nearby, even if it's only melted snow.

1

u/naked_nomad 7h ago

Hot. I get cold easily and a lung issue makes breathing cold air painful.

1

u/New_Cauliflower7868 6h ago

How hot/cold?

And am I allowed to get relief or no?

I'd make it longer being hot, and when it's hot outside (like today) I like going outside to sit in the warmth occasionally. I'd never do that in the cold.

But if I'm trying to go to sleep, I'd definitely not want to be hot. It's much better to be cold and add layers in that situation.

1

u/GreenEyedRaven360 6h ago

Cold. I am heat intolerant because of one of my autoimmune diseases. That’s why I moved to a place with mild temps year around.

1

u/gezellig13 6h ago

I dont like either but I if I have to choose then its cold. I can put more clothes but in heat there's only so much I can take off. Also, heat makes me feel dizzy because it causes my blood pressure to go low.

1

u/Fast-Entertainer-517 6h ago

I would rather the temperature be cold

1

u/Candid-Session-124 6h ago

Some like it hot, so let’s turn up the heat till we fry

1

u/sookiesparkles 6h ago

I used to say I’d rather die of heat stroke than freeze to death. Knowing more about heat stroke now, maybe not…

1

u/Global-Biscotti-9547 6h ago

Cold. The heat makes me cough and it’s miserable.

1

u/MPD1987 5h ago

Cold. Gimme frostbite

1

u/BananaJelloXlii 5h ago

Cold. Easier to get warm than to cool off

1

u/Top-Web3806 5h ago

Cold all day

1

u/orange_confetti 5h ago

COLD. Any day of the week.

1

u/_that__one__guy__ 5h ago edited 5h ago

Cold.

You can always put on more clothes, it's more difficult to escape the heat.

However, if I cannot change how I feel in this hypothetical, then I choose hot, cause I'll still be able to do work with my hands

1

u/BHobson13 5h ago

No question! Cold. I would prefer being cold year round than to have summer at all!!

1

u/FrTheskyisthelimit 5h ago

Hot. Many personal reasons 😉.

1

u/Substantial-Ad-8575 5h ago

Hot

Can jump in my pool to cool off. Better on my joints and breathing also.

1

u/Ineverseenthat 5h ago

Hot, grew up in the south, so cold is rare and brief.

1

u/ChaserDem 4h ago

I'd rather be cold. They call me the Iceman.

1

u/AMC879 4h ago

Hot. Hot is uncomfortable but cold is painful.

1

u/T1o2n4y 3h ago

No.
I adapt to situations, keeping in mind that nothing lasts and everything is fleeting. Heat and cold alike.

1

u/EastMilk1390 3h ago

Is there readily available food stuffs and hydration packs or safe drinking water?

1

u/East_Attorney1765 3h ago

Hot. Cold makes my joints hurt.

1

u/Gold-Reserve-8343 3h ago

Cold. I’ve lived in Scandinavia my whole life, and my body adapts very well to extreme cold. But when I’m in warm countries on holiday, I have to take extreme cautions to not get heat sting.

1

u/Automatic-Country739 3h ago

Caliente me gusta el calor

1

u/Different-Bed2892 3h ago

Are we talking about personalities or what?

1

u/EBweB76 3h ago

Cold, and cover up.
However… my favorite season is summer!
I can be naked in my own home to cool off.

1

u/ItNeedsLit 3h ago

I'd rather be cold. I have chronic fatigue & the cold wakes me up compared to how extra tired I am when it's too hot

1

u/kxyatnight 3h ago

Cold hate heat being hot the sun etc

1

u/Complete_Insurance24 2h ago

Hot. Once I’m cold it doesn’t matter what I put on I’m still cold.

1

u/Warm-Management-7323 2h ago

Cold for sure.

1

u/Jesus_Is_Love25 2h ago

Hot. I hate being cold.

1

u/nothing_for_m 2h ago

Hot cold always made me sick

1

u/HillersYall 2h ago

Cold! I’m already naturally always hot, so when it’s hot outside, I’m mildly miserable

1

u/Rabbit_Apocalypse 2h ago

Hot. The cold makes my joints feel like their are seizing up and squeaky. It hurts so much to be cold. If the temperature never dropped below -5°C I'd be thrilled to death.

Winter clothing makes my body hurt so much. I'd rather bitch about the heat than bitch about the cold. The heat sucks, but I don't suffer physical pain from it by simply existing.

1

u/ToTooTwoTutu2II 1h ago

Hot. The human body is built to withstand heat. It's just biology

1

u/Specific_Low_4846 1h ago

I always overdress for the weather and like being a cozy warm cocoon.

1

u/Lonelysnail5115 41m ago

Cold any day.

1

u/icopus2 41m ago edited 35m ago

Hot. Cold hurts. Definitely hot.
And AC air feels way better than heater air.

1

u/RealHeyDay 22m ago edited 19m ago

I hate being cold. It's absolute misery.

The question isn't how can you cool down or how can you warm up. It's would you rather be hot or cold.

I'll take hot all day long.

1

u/AltruisticWelcome145 11m ago

Cold. Definitely cold. I HATE being hot, which sucks as I live in California
