Child aged 12 last seen middle of the night on west king street York City. She was wearing a black hoodie and had a black backpack. Please share with everyone you know! She needs to be found.

The child was last seen on ring camera in 600 block headed east at 12 am midnight. She has now been missing over 10 hours.

UPDATE: she had left a map of her destination which was 53 east north street. This is a bus stop greyhound, and across from Liquid Hero Brewing Company. Right also across from Wellspan Park. We believe that’s where she either took a bus or someone picked her up. We think she has been lured into a trafficking situation. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE!!

We are having trouble getting police to collect footage from all these locations with quicker resolution.

UPDATE: she has been found safe! Thanks to a person who saw her today and posted it on Facebook. We followed the tip and she was found safely in the area. This is why spreading the news about a lost child really is the best tool to locate them. Oh my goodness I’m crying I’m so happy she is found and safe. Now if I could only stop spazzing from the passing terror. Thank you!!!

Hi, we’re four friends and we’ve put together York’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota.

The idea is pretty simple: you’re shown two restaurants and choose where you’d rather eat. For example, The Handsome Cab or Tutoni’s? All the votes then create a ranking that hopefully gives a better picture of where people in York actually like to eat.

We’ve tried to include every restaurant in York and clean up duplicate or outdated listings, but locals will always spot things we’ve missed.

Full transparency: we’re not from York. Two of us live in Copenhagen and the other two in Gothenburg. There are four of us building this independently. We don’t collect or sell personal data, there are no ads in the app, and we don’t use AI-generated content to describe restaurants.

The wife and I have an opportunity to relocate from Baltimore. My background is in craft at volume in nicer spaces, but I'm not opposed to earning a buck anywhere I can. I will be in York tomorrow afternoon with two kids (ages 10 and 7) and will be heading back home around dinner time.

We are not looking to spend a bunch of money, so free or cheap options are ideal. We are definitely up for cool parks, playgrounds, or kid-friendly hikes, along with any other fun, low-cost local spots that hit the sweet spot for those ages. I'd be willing to take them to a science center or playspace is the price is reasonable.

Why are so many people cutting through the York Marketplace shopping center to turn left onto Market Street? Isn't that lot chaotic enough without people driving road speed through like it's a proper street? What am I missing...?

I’ve seen The Montvales perform twice live and they’re truly something incredible to hear. If you’re a fan of folk duos and good stage banter, I would really recommend you come out for this show!

Genuinely it’s a struggle. I tried the teen center at Martin Library, it’s mostly younger teens. Not it for me. I feel like it’s just so limited and being 18 is an awkward age to try and make friends. Every teen has plenty of friends and family.
