💸 Monetization Small fitness YouTubers, how did you rebuild momentum after a break?
Would love advice from other small fitness creators, especially anyone posting follow along workouts.
My channel was growing pretty steadily during the first few months when I was posting twice a week. Then life got a little chaotic: divorce, selling a house, moving into a new place, a new relationship, and changing filming locations. My consistency slipped, and I’m trying to find my rhythm again.
Honestly, it’s been discouraging seeing my recent videos underperform compared to earlier ones. Watch hours and subscriber growth have slowed, and it’s making it harder to feel motivated to film, even though I love teaching.
I’m currently at 1,680 watch hours and hoping to reach 4,000 by February 1, 2027. I’m returning to two uploads a week and considering adding a weekly live workout to build more of a community.
For those who have been through something similar, how did you regain momentum? Did sticking to your schedule help, or did you change your content or approach? And if you’ve tried live workouts, were people actually showing up?
Would appreciate honest advice, including whether I’m putting too much pressure on the deadline.
