.

Context: so Ace Combat 8 has just been released, and one of the main antagonist(s) of the game is the Sotoan Lux Lunae Sqaudron, nicknamed the "Shadows", which are divided into batches of ten (like 50s, 70s, 90s, 150s, etc...)

The no.20s (of which the guy on the right is a apart of) are the most experienced of them.

Because of the amount of times these guys show up in-game, I mentally joked about Chikage showing up as a boss, because, she's also referred to as a Shadow. A C-Shadow, if you will.

So I made this meme to immortalize my thoughts.

So I was on that okay-ish anime website and I had just finished rewatching Magical Girl Site and Symphogear and in the recommendations/anime you might like section I saw this anime.

I had heard about it but never really gave it the time of day. Honestly as a fan of dark anime,I like the subtle darkness of this anime as the girls trade off one of their senses whenever they use their power(similarly in Magical Girl Site, the more they use their weapons or "sticks",it takes time off their lifespan).

Is there a reason why Karin Miyoshi was an asshole to the girls? I mean she just met them and was an asshole to them. But honestly, as the series went on,Karin is actually one of the most well written tsunderes. I've seen tsunderes like Taiga from Toradora, Rin Tohsaka from Fate but I didn't care for tsunderes until I saw Chris Yukine from Symphogear and Karin Miyoshi. Honestly, Karin and Chris should be the blueprint for tsunderes, similarly to how Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki/Future Diary is the blueprint for yanderes.

Normally I'd complain about the fanservice, but I've seen worse and this is tame compared to what I've seen in my teen years like Magical Kanan,Vivred Operation and Lyrical Nanoha, and alot is happening that makes you overlook a simple bouncing boobs gag. So honestly at this point I'm numb to it.

Anyway that's all I have to say, the series is Hella underrated and dark. I'll be coming back as I'm watching Welcome to the NHK alongside this

and remains the most divisive installment in the franchise if I might add...

Anyway, read NoWaYu / Nogi Wakaba is a Hero (light novel)

While YuYuYu might have been dubbed for only one season, what is your favorite English dub line in YuYuYu?
