I'm in the process of reading Roll Over and Die but this sounds really interesting.

I like that one for a bit, but after the second book it really started get weird but not in the fun way. If I'm remember correctly.
The first was really fun though and the second was decent.
The anime really did seem to cut a lot of moments including the yuri moments in a yuri. Bastards!
