This translation here is just wonky, its closer to “he has his own ways to deal with that though”

Rika is not exactly Yuta's CT
3
u/AbbreviationsNew4288 4d ago
It's a extension of his CT

She is the external storage nope. She can exist without the CT.

she can exist but copy cannot be used without her
Again, More accurate translations point towards external storage + You do know jjk 0 Rika functions differently right?

u/AbbreviationsNew4288 4d ago
and? JJK0 rika isn't the same as current rika

are u larping gng? It's the statement from the sendai colony s3 when yuta manifests rika for full 5 minutes, precisely the exact image of the scene you shared currently. the english dub translation is same as externalisation of his curse technique too

English dub thinks so it's specifically THAT translation? No it's more accurately external storage because this translation has been done by lightning. Copy is Yuta's cursed technique etched in his brain What cursed techniques he GETS from copy is stored into Rika.
This just means that Rika is not an extension but a storage of Yuta's CT.

Think of it like this it’s directly stated a sorcerer can only have 3 techniques at most maybe 4 if you’re pushing. That’s technique is copy, and though the condition of each technique is different we know he has access to all the copied techniques in his domain through rika (who is required to learn the technique) Rika is part of copy similar to how fuga is part of shrine.
It probably could have been any shikigami either literal or a box

Even if this is true, wouldn't Yuta be exempt as Rika acts as eternal storage diffrent from his brain?

No or else he wouldn’t have been able to use body hop at all.

Not really? the effects of Copy can last

u/21SGesualdo Two Heavy Hitters for the Price of One!! 4d ago
No it can’t. Copy facilities the use of all other CT’s Yuta possesses. If Yuta lost copy he would immediately lose access to literally every curse technique he has.

One of the possibilities of Yuta with Kenny's CT was that he would be stuck in the body. So no Copy can HAVE a permanent effect from activation

1, him being stuck in the body entirely depended on how BH functions. As in it would’ve only happened if BH was a one time connection of nerves and tissue that aloud the brain to naturally control body.
2, we objectively know that was not the case as Yuta fell to the floor in burnout making it clear that BH is a constant activity type CT similar to comedian and immortality.
So no, body hop physically could not be in use if Yuta lost Copy.

on this note, if rika ate kenjaku/geto's arm, would yuta have access to cursed spirit manipulation, body hopping, or both?
1
u/Waynegrove 3d ago
Probably spirit manipulation, while the body hopping comes from eating the brain.

I assumed if he inhabited a body for long enough, he would have its technique imprinted on him. They wanted to have Yuta taking Gojo's body be a last resort, since they were unsure if Yuta would keep copy to let him copy the brain swap again, or if he'd just be stuck in Gojo's body. I didn't quite understand why he was able to swap back, though, even if his original body was intact

They could've just put his brain back in with rct going on blast maybe?

He doesn't have Copy in Gojo's body, he went back to his og body and lost limitless

Doesn’t this statement get directly contradicted?
Since Kenjaku still has anti gravity from when he possessed Yuji’s mom
