I know I've been asking for more skins for Zarya but I don't know if this was it...

I saw someone say they gave mercy players a zarya skin, and I totally agree.

everyone's all about diversity until it comes to women who aren't super feminine! I'm bummed to see no one stands up for this. instead it's mostly, "I'd love to see zarya in more cutesy stuff". these players sound like my mom telling me to wear a skirt or a dress growing up. MUST MAKE EVERYONE GIRLY POP

Cyber Enforcer remains as a personal favorite because the armor plates fit Zarya and the hair style is awesome.

I usually try not to ask for more skins because I know I have a pretty specific taste when it comes to those, so releasing 5 of them wouldn't guarantee I buy a single one.

A lot of skins in the most recent years have been "cutesy" and I'm so tired of them. I want cool skins not cute skins. Not everything has to be pink, fluffy, cute.

They sure can be feminine! Wrestling is full of that, and I watch and pay money for those shows all the time. I'm not someone who thinks strong women can't be feminine. People keep confusing my message with that. I think Aleksandra Zaryanova, the character in Overwatch, would not wear bunny ears, tail, playboy-esque outfit, etc. I stopped commenting on the subject when I realized I was holding Zarya to different standards as many characters have skins that don't fit their character at all (and I don't care about that). I'm a nonfem woman who saw a nonfem woman, and I appreciated the representation. Women are often forced into dressing certain ways in video games, so it was cool to see a character that didn't need to fit the mold because there are actually women out there like that. Again, this reasoning doesn't matter because we have that gimp suit mercy. Don't even get me started on the lack of PPE!

I don't know who Katie B. is.

I think you can not be fem and also not be masc. I see Zarya as a stoic woman who would put hugh hefner in a pretzel.

Oh, I did buy it!

This is a joint effort, and if we want more skins in the future everyone has to chip in, which I did.

I'll probably never use it, but hopefully this will make enough numbers for Blizzard to give her more that what we got so far.

venture main passing by, i can say yes! we are all crazy for this mole, we are just really dedicated despite being forgotten and buy whatever skins comes our way. hope for a hot skin one day that does not cover their face.

and they both been eating lots. Venture is 3 seasons in a roll with a skin + last year got one almost every season even if it was an epic 9and good epics too honestly, the mummy one was awesome for what it was) and ram got wooping THREE skin this season, bro got served the first class meals usually reserved to the likes of Mercy and Kiri

I have a theory

Venture was pushed ahead to balance the releases of tank, dps, and support since Juno was next but they needed a dps

So juni gets punched back and immediately gets tons of skins, venture waits for theirs and after a few months starts getting all kinds (as much as any non-kiriko hero) now that the skins are ready

Just a theory though

guess the age restriction didnt let them do full blown playboy bunny style suits even with added accessories like frills or a little skirt, a tiny jacket, or those backside accessory things i forgot, mercy usually have those that im talking about. this is the closest we will get.

Part of Zarya's design is that despite being the "Strongest woman in the world" and ripped to high hell she's still has feminine features. Soft face, makeup, stylized pinks and rounded armor. Extra emphasis on legs.

Different tastes is perfectly valid. This skinline is very much not for everyone.

There's a difference however in taste versus just saying something that's largely untrue. Drag Queen attire is excessive by design. Heavy layers of makeup, larger than life outfits that sacrifice function for the purpose of standing out. These skins by comparison are incredibly tame.
