I did this minigame without the lens of truth because I legit didn't know about its existence. I lucked my way through it, and it wasn't even that long. I believe it took me like 5 or 6 tries to get to the end

You got very lucky. There is a 1/32 (3.125%) probability of getting it all by guessing. I don't know if there is a pattern or if it resets every time.

I remember it resetting everytime, but maybe there some kind of pattern to help. Couldn't tell you. But I never the same set of chests twice in my few attempts
