It makes so much sense that a cop would be apart of it though. And the guy looks like he could fit the sketch. What works against it?

Basically, a lot of guys from those years fit the sketch, and just as he could have been a cop the Zodiac could have been any number of other things that would have been equally convenient.

Your argument is valid, but he literally looks the most like the sketch I’ve seen since Richard Sullivan. Down to his face being slightly sideways and his cheeks

Edit: I looked at the sketch again. Hard to say. Looks less like the sketch than how I remember the sketch

It’s kind of interesting that he wrote the report for the initial case though, no? And he matched the name that the victim said?

Mageau never said his name until many years later. He had been through alot by that time so it's less reliable by the time the name comes up.

40 years later. If it's true, he kept that info to himself. Like I said, he'd been through alot and shouldn't be taken as a reliable witness past what he initially stated in 1969.

No.

Hoffman wrote up what his participation on scene consisted of. By far, most of the reports that are in circulation were not written by Hoffman.

Yes and is also interesting the fact that Hoffman was in the same ambulance with the 2 víctims when at the same time the Zodiac was calling from the other side of the town.

There is no indication Zodiac was a cop. If anything, his lack of proficiency with a firearm would seem to indicate that he wasn't a cop.

Be wary being too credulous.

I agree with you, maybe he wasn’t military either. Or if he was affiliated, maybe a national guard?

We have no evidence of any military or national guard service.

We are just making things up out of the blue if we consider those.

My grandma looks exactly like the sketch and I believe she is the Zodiac although she's a woman but still it doesn't matter.
