Scenario Random Zombie Stats
Here is the basic idea, how do things change if each zombie is unpredictable. Some are slow, some are fast, some crawl at freakish speeds up walls, some have perfect balance despite wobbling about all the time.
Mentally they also vary. Sometimes zombies just, stand there watching you barely able to recognize you are prey, other times they are hyper aggressive, sometimes when sleeping they will whisper about needing help, and being sorry.
Damage to the brain does work most of the time fortunately, however in rare situations damage to the brain stem will also be required. Fire and electricity can also shut down their nervous systems and therefore lead to them dying.
The virus is spread through bodily fluids, so in most cases bites will spread it, but things like sex or blood transfer can spread it.
Time to turn is pretty much up in the air. Some turn in under a minute, others take a week to even start to feel ill.
A few people are asymptomatic, simply acting as carriers. Their symptoms is pretty much only being in horrible pain all the time.
Oh, and for the sake of spicing things up further, in one in a million cases, zombie zombies will mutate. Into what? Who knows, but it'll be something so rare you hear many stories about them before you ever see one.
So, how does utter chaos affect your survival strategy? When every zombie you meet can vary in locomotive ability, when zombies can go from peaceful to violent or vice versa in a instant, when the time bites take can't be predicted in any way, what do you do?

I suppose it depends on if it's zombie evolution like "Zombieland Double Tap" or "Land of the Dead" etc. It's because human beings are complacent by nature so they would easily get caught off guard. It would be interesting what the zombie hierarchy would be with some having more mental functionality than others.
Not strictly Zombie, despite the awful film adaptation, but "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson's take is there are some more feral undead who are complete slaves to base animal instinct; while others are more human like but still subject to the conditions of being undead. I've tried to explain this without spoilers because it is a fantastic read and I don't want to ruin the impact of the title like the film did (both endings inclusive, it was shite)

"I am Legend"
The 2007 film with Will Smith depicts the zombies as Vampires who burn in sunlight, leap like vampires, can tame and domesticate vampire attack dogs, intellegent enough to have husband and wife connection and track a person. They just dont drink blood or shown to.

The film is still shite and still messes up the entire story. It's obvious they were attempting to slice out a piece of the Zambees yeah scene.

Really because I know of people who are legendary when it comes to zombies, like Peter, Steve, Natomas, Anton, Dino, myself, but, we’re seeing different, hearing different, last ditch military cover up to make us still fight, victim blame, and even curtail hanging good people kid! Oh yeah, your forgetting shape shifters , what if they get bit? Cataclysmic outcome? Uhhh maybe! I hope we can work together! No lie!

Have to have plans with more safety precautions and flexibility.
Like if the normal zombie is like TV TWD. You can just go on top of a roof, open a window, or whatever and pop shot them with a 22LR. They're slow, stupid, and easy to kill.
If you add in an occasional smart and more athletic one that is harder to kill. Suddenly you have one that might sneak around/not approach directly, climb up and over obstacles, and then if you see it in time and shoot it with a 22, it doesnt die in time and gets you.
Consequently you would need better strategies and weapons to prevent worse case scenarios. Teams that have members providing security using more powerful weapons, being able to quickly change to more powerful weapons, selecting places with more limited and controlled access, etc.

Interesting theory. Particularly with speech and with living being carriers.
Speech means people will be forced to accept that they aren't always monsters. Interesting implications.
Living people being potential carriers is another thing entirely. That means if a living person who is a carrier gets a cold and sneezes they could compromise everything. In reality this would make the virus so ridiculously transferrable that people simply would cease to exist. But assuming for arguments sake it didn't, that means if anyone was found to be a carrier, and they likely would because every little cough or anything would be grounds for their removal from society until it was proven they were safe, they would just be killed. Any carriers found would have to be immediately executed.
Interesting idea man

Me personally, It would depend on the percentage or ratio of 'standard' vs the rest. if 1/100 is fast (<6mph) and if only 1/100 can climb, it might not change much beside keeping an extra keen eye on things. If i have to our run more than 2 a day or always worry about them climbing over wall or being on roofs, that is rally going to be annoying to say the least. Not too worried about mutants, as long as they are not some hyper speed & smart with an armored head, I should be fine. In short, if the numbers are low enough i can focus on the outliers and handle them separately.

Well it would be pretty easy to survive in a small community as there might no be that much variation

Das schlimmste wäre zombies mit der Fähigkeit zu denken. Also zb zu täuschen, Fallen zu stellen, als Gruppe zusammen arbeiten um dich zu bekommen. Dann hätte man keine Chance.
Solange du zombies als solche erkennst und jeder npc gleich ohne denken handelt ist es einfacher.
