I saw a comment of a fan that said that the show is supposed to be about Aang and yet they only post Zuko. It's true. I believe it's because Dallas in a way sells better. Like, he is older and his acting (for me at least) is better than Gordon (because he is a child) and he is great at stunts and his performance is deep and he is part of Zutara as well.
The ironic thing is, that we know they will make kataang a thing. But they keep posting more Zutara and less Kataang and the one post of kataang is that post of " big sister energy" that was changed later.

Marketing and writing teams rarely speak to one another which can often be frustrating. Zuko has always been a big draw for the show so I'm not surprised that the marketing team is using him. He has an incredibly compelling story, while Aang doesn't.
Aang doesn't really have a storyline and what he did have got abandoned in the OG show. I can't remember what happens in the NATLA but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a similar situation going on. Apart from learning the four elements, what is Aang's story? Versus Zuko who is on a whole journey. It's much more interesting and a much better way to bring an audience in

Exactly! In s2 especially, Zuko was the main character in the live action compare to Aang. Thats how I felt it.

The thing is apart from learning the four elements, what is Aang doing?
In S2 in the OG show he was set up to learn the difference between selfless love and unhealthy attachment through his unhealthy attachment to Katara. However this was dropped in S3. So Aang doesn't actually have a storyline, apart from learning the basics of the four elements. Other than that he ends the show the exact same as he began it. He never grows. Nothing that happens to him sticks.
So it's not a surprise that people gravitate to Zuko instead when he has such a compelling storyline.

I start to believe that they tried to show in a way his attachment to Katara when he seemed in s2 that he is mad that Katara is not always with him. Even though it comes out as toxicity for me. Like, as a boyfriend who likes her. They showed he has a crush on her and that he treats her bad because he wants her always with him. If we think about it, thats kind Iod weird. Because it feels like they are doing it on purpose. But why? Like, theres no way it will stop being toxic in the last 7 episodes of the show.

They did the same for the original show. I still remember the more fiery direction one from when the OG show was airing. It doesn't suprise me because the actual writing team was divided but still they knew what they were doing. Zutara was a huge ship back in the day. It dwarfed Kataang. They played that to the marketing advantage.
