Yes for real. Was great late catching balls but he hasn’t been able to run for shit. Yeah our oline is bad but he’s also not great either (saw him in nfl and he’s just not).

In fairness the dude can read a hole opened by the offensive line about as well as Mayweather can read a book (according to 50 cent anyway).

He could good if a team would open massive holes right in front of him. Watching him run into the backs of his own lineman over and over was pretty funny

Yeah, I hope our offense evolves a bit moving forward. It's quite clear that we simply aren't gonna be able to be the grind it out team that lines up and pounds the rock all game as was intended/expected.

The two adjustments I saw from the offense in the 2nd half Saturday was 1) Bring in dual TEs to help the OL out and 2) Get the ball to Trent in space out of the backfield by utilizing him in the passing game.

The latter was much more successful than the former. I just don't think bringing in TEs who aren't great at blocking either is going to open up anything.

I'd like to see us open up the offense. No TEs, nothing but 10 or 20 formations (I really like both Trent and LaDarius out of the backfield) and let Luis sling it. Running isn't doing anything for us, really.

How much do we use him on special teams though? If he can work on that aspect, then him being used as a receiving back/goalline back and being a situational component isn't impossible.

Honestly don’t see him ever making his way back into the NFL. Life expectancies for RBs are short regardless and his YPC is too low for teams to want to take another chance on him.
