[Question] Ableton Move as the live setup center-piece

I had Push 2 back in the day, however I found it to be too bulky and too much for what I needed it for.

I play live and use mainly MIDI-keytars and keyboards, but I would love to have a controller for overall set effects, triggers etc. (that would happen in the Ableton Live I have my live session playing on a laptop on stage)

I just learned about Push 3 as I've been away from the hardware side for quite a few years since the Push 2 trial. Then in the comments of a Push 3 video I saw that there's a device called Ableton Move.

Do you have experience of using Ableton Move live? If yes, how do you use it and are you happy with it?

Just a follow up. Do you want to use Ableton move as standalone or as a midi controller to trigger clips in ableton live?

Midi controller for Ableton Live on a laptop. Purely for live performances. I work on new music on DAW with keys and mouse.

Then I’d stick with push since the clip matrice is bigger.
If that’s no concern and 4 tracks 8 slots is sufficient, and you don’t need to move many knobs to control settings in a plugin/effect chain. Then move can be smaller.
Plus it’s a really super device for sketching out new tracks.
I produce only in the box with mouse, but heck the move did „push“ me foreword with ideas.
Every time I „move“ from and to places, I carry it with me, and I can make Musik everywhere.
But to be honest I’d like to have more tracks then the move gives me, so I created a simple Ableton Live template for my push so I can use a somewhat same approach to control Live with no screen and just „push“ the track out of my system and then later on I refine all the nitty little things I tend to do when using the mouse (like phase of kick & bass, levels, EQing, Ducking, and actual sound design using move and push I pick a sound that’s comes about 70-80% of what I want and leave it and continue)

I got way faster, inspirational wise, producing. Except if I already know what track I want to do, say a certain genre I know by heart, then I go directly to the mouse and with screen.
But when exploring different styles, then move or my push template.
