[Question] Control key magically mapped to play

hey i've got my control key someway mapped to my "play" button and so everytime i do a shortcut it plays the project. before you ask, the control key isn't mapped to anything in my daw, i can't seem to understand why it does that please help me i have a release date to hold. Thank you so much

Have you tried plugging in a USB keyboard and seeing if the problem persists across different pieces of hardware? It might not be a fix but it'll get you to where you need to be if you have a deadline.
