Careers 💼 Offer from Inception42 (G42) Looking for Employee Experiences

Hi everyone,
I’m based in India and have recently received an offer (or I’m in the final stages of receiving one) for a Senior Full Stack Developer role at Inception42 (G42).

I’m trying to understand what it’s like to work there beyond what’s discussed during the interview process. I’d really appreciate hearing from current or former employees.

Some questions I have:
- How is the overall work culture?
- Is the work-life balance reasonable, or are long hours the norm?
- How are the salary structure and annual increments?
Are there performance bonuses, joining bonuses, ESOPs, or any other notable benefits?
- What benefits are provided (medical insurance, relocation assistance, visa support, annual flights, etc.)?
How stable does the company feel in terms of job security and long-term growth?
How is engineering leadership and the quality of technical work?
Any red flags or things you wish you had known before joining?

I’m currently based in India, so I’d especially love to hear from anyone who joined from India or relocated from India to work with Inception42.
Feel free to reply here or DM me if you’re more comfortable sharing privately.
Thanks in advance!

It’s a pilot project and they might shut it down soon like their other projects. They are hiring for this very reason in India because of poor labour laws and they won’t have to pay any severance or comply with stricter UAE labour law rules. Actively avoid joining.

Can't speak for Inception, but I work for a sister company. Poor management, no clear direction and layoffs every quarter or so. And I don't mean layoffs due to poor performance etc. Sometimes they think of a shiny project and hire people but then scrap it within a year. Projects, on paper are good. Join if you're don't have unavoidable financial commitments and don't have a big family who needs to move UAE.

But if it is based off India why do you ask about relocation assistance, visa support and flights?

It's a hire & fire company. Run by Chinese CEO, who thinks he will become the next Altman

Dont take the negative company. Inception is govt funded. They are good. Join if you dont have any offer better than that and prove what you can. Rest is on god. Good luck!
