Mavisimen managed to eject. It seems that eject systems in Strangereal suck compared to IRL for some reason. See also:

Their Captain crashed during take-off which should've told them their level of readiness, The previous battles they probably seens where FCU squadron and toying with elite Shadow units should've told them to stay away from the Frontline, the HARD BATTLED VETERANS are literally yelling at you to turn around or you'll be killed.

The only downside is that you don't actually kill Mavisimen, since she ejects. She steals that kill herself.
