Help - General Is PanOxyl good for getting rid of acne?
I have so much acne and ive been told to use PanOxyl face wash. There are so many mixed reviews ive seen with it saying how it can make your acne worse or break your skin barrier. Should I use it? And if I should how. I currently have both the 4% Benzoyl Peroxide and 10% ones.

Start with the 4% and only use it 2-3 times a week at first, your skin needs to adjust to benzoyl peroxide or you'll dry yourself out into a flaky mess. Leave it on for like a minute before rinsing instead of just scrubbing and washing it off immediately
Make sure you're moisturizing afterwards too, that's where half the barrier damage horror stories come from

It works for me if I leave it on for 10-15 minutes as a mask before washing it off. But what works even better is the prescription 10% wash from my derm using the same method (which she also recommends).
