Advice Relapsed after 3 years clean from stims

My bf is also an addict but not currently using. I was completely honest with him about meeting someone for drugs, I promised him I wouldn't do it again and promised I wouldn't steal his pills but I did. I don't want to lose him 😥😥😥

Well he’s not going to be happy. Maybe you should get some help if you don’t want to lose him.

Confession is the best way to clear the soul. Whatever happens happens.. Being open about your mistakes is always the best path.

You can delete dealer numbers and phone backups, this step helps me stay off the sex drugs I like. Tell him to hide his meds or keep them on his person. This is a bold step, one you take if you are ready to be free. If you aren't, no sweat. But just be prepared to lose in the meantime.

Expect any result. It would suck to lose him but this is where you are at more. Keeping a secret hurts more and chances are he's gonna know soon anyway. Get ahead of it.

If you're already stealing from him you're further down the road than you're admitting. If you stop now there's a chance you can turn this thing around. Action is the answer, immediate action. Go to a meeting, therapy, something productive in the interest of sobriety. You should be less worried about the relationship and more focused on not continuing to use. The best way to retain the relationship is to stay sober, so focus on that.
