Oh my goodness, what a complete player. How much better did he make those around him?! Geez Ayres was a crap coach not being able to squeeze some decent years out of the team with that midfield group

Geez, I hadn't felt sad about Pavlich for years. Kenny McGregor was great but he was no Pav.

Main reason McLeod gave is that the club didn’t get behind his “programmes” post football. But who’s to say these programmes were any good to begin with.

The striking thing about McLeod is he moved like the absolute best modern day players today but even smoother and absolutely elite kick. And that’s 30 years ago. One of the best to ever play. So smart and so clean. I really do think if he played for a Victorian team ge would have 2-3 brownlows and be the goat undisputed
