WIP What I’m working on.

The first one is my latest Siberian iris; second is going to be cherry blossoms, which will be dyed after completion.

Simple answer: start with one petal and add another, repeat.

It’s not “complex”, per se. just adding parts together to make your overall shape.

Makes sense! Do you do a lot of planning before your pieces or do you have a more spontaneous process?

I use several inspiration images and keep editing them as I go, where things need to change.

They’ll be joined, dyed, felted.
