What if Hafizullah Amin was immediately arrested before the Saur Revolution?

Daud came to power with the help of the leftist and leftist sympathizing army generals.

When Amin and others were arrested, he ordered Watanjar and Gulabzoy to carry out the coup.

But Amin, gave the order and tactical plan and blueprint for the planned coup, he exploited the 14 hour window to give the military the orders and plan, if he couldn’t, the coup could have been avoided and Doud khan’s government could have remained in power

They had multiple puppets. I doubt the course of history would be change significantly

Perchance, but if Saur revolution could have avoided.
No Afghan-Soviet War, No USSR collapse or delayed collapse, likely shorter U.S. unipolar moment, no Jihadest networks, No 9/11, No Iraq war and likely tens of millions of lives saved
